Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the most dominant variable or variables that affect the best value on the Company Miscellaneous Industry Sector Manufacturing Company Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2009-2013 Period. The type of reseach is quantitative research. This study used literature reseach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and number of samples used by 15 companies. Variables used in this study are Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) as an independent variable, Firm Value (Price to Book Value) as an dependent variable. The datas was get from Annual Report Publication on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The analysis method used in this research is Stepwise Regression Method. Data processing research done using sofware Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20. The results showed that the best, most dominant variable affecting the Firm Value is the Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Assets (ROA). Its mean, Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt To Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) are not dominant variables in this research. Hypothesis testing results in partial Current Ratio (CR) significant negative effect on the Firm Value (PBV), Return on Assets (ROA) significant positive effect on Firm Value (PBV).
