Abstract

The research aimed was to investigate the influence of single treatment and interaction of wood variety and composting durationthe growth on of oyester mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The research was conducted from November to january in CV Makmur Sentosa. A Factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) was used with 2 factors.The treatment used in the study were three wood varieties e.g. sengon (SKS), bayur (SKB), and kapur (SKK) and composting duration (LP) for 3 days, 6 days, and 9 days. The research result showed that the single treatment of wood variety which produced the fastest time for growth of mycelium on bag logwasSKK (25.11 days), the fastest time for primordial initiationwas SKS (51.73 days), the maximum number of fruiting bodies wasSKS (48.66 fruits), maximum fresh weight of fruiting bodies was(337.11 g), and the highest values of biological efficiency were found from SKS treatment (34.51%). Based on the result of single treatment, of the composting duration produced the fastest time for growth of mycelium on bag logwas LP9 (24.44 days), the fastest time of primordial initiation was LP6 (51.56 days), the maximum number of fruiting bodies was LP9 (42.77 fruits), the maximum fresh weight of fruiting bodies was LP6 (351.22 g), and the of biological efficiency LP6 treatment (35.12%). The treatment of SKKP9 interaction gave the fastest time for growth of mycelium on bag in 24 days, and treatment SKSP6 the best for fastest time of primordial initiation occurred (52.46 days),the maximum fresh weight of fruiting bodies (48.66 g),the maximum number of fruiting bodies was (337.11 g),the biological efficiency with the higest oyster mushroom was (34.51%). The result of student’s worksheet feasibility test which involved 4 respondents e.g. 2 Biology education lecturers and 2 senior high school Biology teachers obtained score result 83.5% with very good category. The result showed that the student’s worksheet was feasible to be used as learning resource for ten graders of senior high school on mushroom concept.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari masing-masing perlakuan tunggal dan interaksi antar jenis kayu dan lama pengomposan terhadap pertumbuhan jamur tiram. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Januari 2015 di CV Makmur Sentosa menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu tiga jenis kayu yang terdiri dari serbuk kayu sengon (SKS), bayur (SKB), dan kapur(SKK) dan lama pengomposan (LP) selama 3 hari, 6 hari, dan 9 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuantunggal jenis kayu yang menghasilkan waktu paling cepat bagi miselium tumbuh memenuhi media yaitu SKK (25,11 hari), kemunculan primordia yaitu SKS (51,73 hari), jumlah tubuh buah terbanyak yaitu SKS (48,66 buah), berat tubuh buah terbesar yaitu perlakuan SKS (337,11 gr), dan efisiensi biologi terbesar, yaitu perlakuanSKS (34,51). Pada perlakuan tunggal lama pengomposan yang menghasilkan waktu paling cepat bagi miselium memenuhi media adalah LP9 (24,44 hari), waktu kemunculan primordia tercepat yaitu LP6 (51,56 hari), jumlah tubuh buah terbanyak yaitu LP9 (42,77 Buah), berat tubuh buah terberat yaitu perlakuan LP6 (351,22 gram), dan efisiensi biologi terbesar yaitu perlakuan LP6 (35,12%). Perlakuan interaksi SKKP9 memberikan waktu tercepat bagi miselium memenuhi bag log selama 24 hari, danperlakuan SKSP6 yang paling berpengaruhterhadap parameter waktu kemunculan primordia (52,46 hari), jumlah tubuh buah (48,66 gr), berat tubuh buah (337,11 gr), dan efisiensi biologi (37,16%). HasilujikelayakanLKS yang melibatkan 4 orang respondenyaitu 2 orang dosenpendidikanBiologidan 2 orang guru Biologi SMA memperolehhasilskorsebesar83,5%, dengankategorisangatbaik. Hasil inimenunjukanbahwaLKSdapatdigunakansebagaisumberbelajarbagisiswa SMA kelas X padakonsep jamur.
