Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan nilai UTS Siswa tahun ajaran 2013- 2014. 17 siswa mendapatkan nilai <60 dengan kriteria belum tuntas atau belum berhasil. Sedangkan 9 siswa mendapat nilai >60 dengan kriteria tuntas. Kurang dilibatkannya siswa secara aktif pada pembelajaran yang mengakibatkan kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa , kurangnya percaya diri, dan kurang beraninya siswa dalam menjawab setiap pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing, untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa setelah adanya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing pada pembelajaran IPS. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cikuya 1 yang berjumlah 26 siswa, yang terdiri dari 20 siswa laki- laki dan 6 siswa perempuan. instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar (soal objektif), lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai pada siklus I sebesar 53,85% atau nilai rata- rata kelasnya sebesar 69,23, Pada siklus II sebesar 95,65% atau nilai rata- rata sebesar 86,52. Berdasarkan data aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I aktivitas belajar siswa mencapai 50%, pada siklus II aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi 96,15%. Berdasarkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa, hal ini membuktikan bahwa hasil belajar siswa serta aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat setelah adanya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing.

Less involvement of students actively in the learning that results in a lack of student activity, lack of confidence, and less brave students in answering any questions posed by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes with the implementation of the cooperative model studs jingling to determine the activities of the students after the implementation of cooperative learning model studs jingling in social studies learning. The object of this study was grade IV SDN Cikuya 1, amounting to 26 students, which consisted of 16 male students and 10 female students. instruments used in the form of research achievement test (objective matter), observation and field notes. These results indicate the value of the first cycle of 53.85% or an average value of 69.23 class, the second cycle of 95.65% or an average value of 86.52. Based on data from the student activity in the first cycle of student activity reached 50%, in the second cycle of student’ learning activity to 96.15%.
