Abstract
This study aims to increase the activity of students and improve student learning outcomes in the concept cooperation through the application of note taking guided learning model. This study was conducted because of the low value of student learning in that concept. Subjects in this study were 37 students . The data collection techniques using : pre-cycle guidance on interview, observation, written tests, student worksheet (LKS ) and documentation . While the instruments used for collecting data , tests student learning outcomes in the form of a written test and Observation Sheet . The results showed that an increase in the student activity also led to increased student learning. In the first cycle, the percentage of student activity reached 70 %, whereas the percentage of activity in the second cycle students has increased 100 % . In the first cycle of learning the average value of student learning is 48.64 with 11 % percentage of completeness . While the results of the test on the second cycle the average value of student learning is 75.15 with a percentage of 82 % completeness . The test results after the learning process is classified by the excellent category with indicators of achieving success at the top of the KKM value by 100 % . It shows that through the application of note taking guided learning model can improve student learning outcomes .
