Abstract

Makalah penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komik strip terhadap hasil belajar siswa. pemahaman bacaan di kelas XI SMAN 11 Kabupaten Tangerang di akademik 2014/2015. Peneliti melakukan eksperimen semu. Datanya adalah diambil dari nilai siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komik strip adalah pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa. Terbukti dari para siswa skor. Pre-test eksperimen, mereka mendapat rata-rata 50,73 dan kelas kontrol, mereka mendapat 55.6 rata-rata. Post-test dari kelas eksperimen, mereka mendapat rata-rata 74,33 dan kelas kontrol, mereka mendapat rata-rata 70,96. Ada perkembangan pada post-test kelas eksperimen, nilai post-test siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kontrol kelas. Jadi, pengaruh komik strip terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil skor t-test. Hasil uji-t diperoleh skor 2,361. Kesimpulannya, komik strip memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa.

Additional Information: This research paper aims at to determine the influence of comic strip toward students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMAN 11 Kabupaten Tangerang in academic 2014/2015. The researcher conducted quasi experimental. The data were taken from students’ score. The result of this research showed that comic strip was influence toward students’ reading comprehension. It was proven from the students’ score. The pre-test of experimental, they got 50.73 average and control class, they got 55.6 average. The post-test from experimental class, they got 74.33 average and control class, they got 70.96 average. There was development in post-test of experimental class, the students' score of post-test in experimental higher than control class. So, the influence of comic strip toward students’ reading comprehension can be seen from the result of t-test score. The t-test score got 2.361 score. In conclusion, the comic strip has a significant influence toward students’ reading comprehension.
