Abstract

Radio is a medium of mass communication who earned the nickname the fifth power or the fifth estate, since the radio broadcasts can also perform the function of social control such as newspapers, in addition to four other functions that member information, entertain, educate, and persuasion. Radio program must be packed in such a way to attract attention and can be followed as much as possible people. This study aims to determine the effect of broadcast programs Kontak Muslimah against the interest of listeners about religious knowledge, and using stimulus-respons theory. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research. With a total sample of 80 people. Object of study studied were broadcast program Kontak Muslimah against the interest of listeners of religious knowledge. The results obtained from the correlation value of 0.373 which indicates that there is a weak correlation between the influence impression on the listener's interest on religious knowledge. From the results of hypothesis test obtained t count> t table at the significance level of 5% or α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that t = 3.549> from table = 2.000 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.
