Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test whether the effect on the profitability of the company's value as well as the dividend policy is able to moderate the relationship of profitability and company value. In this study, the company's value is measured by Tobin 's Q, profitability measured by return on equiti and net profit margin, measured by the dividend policy and payout dividend payout ratio. The population used in this study is the category LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) of the year 2005-2014. The Samples were 7 companies using purposive sampling method. The analytical method used in this study are moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results of this study show that : 1) return on equity (ROE) negative effect on company value. 2) The net profit margin (NPM) negative effect on the Company Values. 3) Dividend payout ratio (DPR) can moderate the relationship of return on equity (ROE) and Company Value. 4) Dividend payout ratio (DPR) can moderate the relationship of net profit margin (NPM ) and Company Value .
