Abstract
The study of analysis and design steel cantilever sheetpile was conducted on the “Project of Toll Gate Development and Transaction Lane located in Serang Timur-Banten”. Sheetpile used in this project to hold the backfill. The purpose of this study is to calculate the depth of construction sheetpiles, and to determine the dimension of concrete sheetpile and steel sheetpile. The method used in this study is Coulomb’s method for analyze the active and passive lateral pressure and also analyze two types of sheetpile geometry. This study also compare the results of manual calculation with the results of GEO 5 v.17 Software. The result of calculations of cantilever sheetpiles in this study shows that the length of sheetpile based on Coulomb’s method for Type 1 are 6,045 m with safety factor 1,526 use steel sheetpile Hot Rolled Sheet Piling Section Type II and concrete sheetpile Type W-325-A-1000, for Type 2 are 9,758 m depth with safety factor 1,627 use steel sheetpile Hot Rolled Sheet Piling Section Type III and concrete sheetpile Type W-500-B-1000. The length of sheetpile sheetpiles based on the result of GEO5 v.17
