Abstract
The objective of this research is to know the use of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share of students’ learning cognitive ability on sciences subject. The method of this research is quasy –experimental in nonequivalent control group design. This research was held in SDN 3 Serang academic year 2015/2016. The population of this research is all of the students in 5th grade. Class VA was as the experiment class which used cooperative learning model Think Pair Share. While, class VB was as the control class which used conventional learning. The data was collected by using multiple choice test and observation. Based on the data analysis, the average of the experiment class is 70.2 and control class is 68.51. From the data analysis that used Mann Whitney, the students’ Science cognitive ability is 3,23≥1,64 then H0 is rejected and Hiaccepted. Based on the data, researcher can conclude that cooperative learning model Think Pair Share influences against students’ learning cognitive ability on Science subject in SDN Serang 3.
