Abstract
Technology and construction are necessary to reduce environment exploitation and utilize waste of concrete. Using the concrete waste is one of effort to reduce environment exploitation. The research is to know how much influence of waste concrete on the compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. This research plan midstrength normal concrete that targeted 25 MPa with slump 3060 mm and using Portland Pozzolan Cement (PPC). The proportion of waste concrete on this research are 25%, 50%, 75% and 100 % from total weight of natural agregates with age test 7 days, 14 days, 21 days and 28 days. Total sample is 48 pieces (3 sample of each age test and proportion). Result of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity compared with teoritical value. The result on this research express that greater the use of waste concrete, greater the reduction that occured of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. Based on research result, the use of waste concrete on normal concrete with proportion 25% show significant average reduction of compressive strength and modulus of elasticity that is 45,39% amd 77,35%. Then the next proportion that is 50% show reducion 56,99% and 77,45%. Proportion 75% show reduction 61,65% and 79,26%. Proportion 100% show reduction 66,62% and 79,12%. The most optimum proportion of waste concrete in this research is 25%. Variability of waste quality inflict the properties of concrete material generated and tend reduction the compressive strength and modulus of elasticity.
