Abstract

Technology was created to provide convenience to human life in doing the activity. Gadget is one of the advanced technology that provides easy of communication. Gadget is also widely used children at this time, This is what makes the gadget supposed to influence the aspects of child development, one of which is the aspect of social development. There are several children's social problems that often arise that a child generally looks a bit lazy and passive when children do activities together with their peers. This research implemented in TK Islam Al-Azhar 10 Kota Serang. The method used in this study is a comparative causal or ex post facto with total samples are 47 children four to five years old. The primary data from the collected questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, there are some influences of the gadgets usage on the social development of children 4-5 years old at TK Islam Al-Azhar 10 Kota Serang. This is indicated by the positive correlation between the variables of 0.443, based on the results of a simple regression analysis lienear known that any in the use of the gadget is add by one it will affect to high social development of children 4-5 years old at TK Islam Al-Azhar 10 Kota Serang of 0.132, as indicated by the equation Y = 1.144 + 0.132 (X).
