Abstract
This research entitle the "Influence Applying Total Quality Management To Productive Behavior Employees". The growth of balance electric energy of West Java, increase year to yeare. It represent the challenge which must be faced by PT. PLN ( Persero) Distribution Office of West Java and Banten, which is loaded progressively with the dynamics. Employees involvement have to be improved by PLN overcoming the challenge. Because of it, PT. PLN ( Persero) Distribution Office of West Java and Banten have affirmed the commitment to realize the management of human resource being based on interest and have started by conducting interest test raise step by step and continual. One of the effort organization applied in make up of the quality of human resource is applying total quality management or in Indonesia, it is recognized by total quality control. Objective of this research is to know the influence of applying total quality management to productive behavior of employees. This research is based on theory of Tenner and Detoro in Hamidah (2002 : 23), where they express that essence total quality management is continous improvement/CI, laterthen CI elaborated to become three principle or subsistem there are customer focus, continous process improvement, and total involvement. This statement is also supported by some theory differ from Fandy and Anastasia (2003), Vincent (2002), Prabhu (2006), Jayawarna and Pearson (2001). Research used are descriptive and asosiatif with the approach of survey. Determination of sampel data use the method of simple purposive sampling. The research of this subject are 4 offices of area of service and network at PT. PLN ( Persero) Distribution Office of West Java and Banten. The population in this research are offices area of service and network of PT. PLN ( Persero) Distribution Office of West Java and Banten. Sum up the sample taken are 72 division. Path analysis is used SPSS 10.0 for windows. The result of this research are obtained conclusion total quality management have an effect on positive to behavior of employees equal to 65% simultanly. Meanwhile by parsially variable from Customer Focus have an effect on positive and significant equal to 82%, and Continous Process Improvement and Total Involvement have an effect on the negative significant to productive behavior of employees equal to -1,03%, and -42% and other factors influencing equal to 35%. Keywords : Total quality management consist of Focus Customer, Continous Prosess Improvement, Total Involvement and Productive Behavior Employees.
