Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of science process skills approach through the poster making of the cognitive skills of biology environmental pollution in concept. This research was done in SMAN 9 Cilegon. This research method use quasi experimental. Pretest-postestcontol group design was used to measure 32 students for experimental class and 32 sampel for control class. The collecting data using a cognitive skills test form description which have been tested it’s validity, reliability and differences of difficulties level. Data analysis using t-test, known significance value obtained was 0,007. Then the significance <0,05 (0,007<0,05), so that H o refused and H accepted it means, there are significant science process skills approach through the poster making of cognitive skills as students of biology environmental pollution in concept. This research is not only used to find out cognitive skills but also developed for psychomotoric and affective capability. Key words: Science Process Skills Approach, Poster, Cognitive
