Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the influence of Financing Problem (NPF) to Profitability (ROA), (2) the influence Financing Problem (NPF) to Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), (3) the influence Level of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) to Profitability (ROA) and (4) the influence of Financing Problem (NPF) to Profitability (ROA) which using capital adequacy rate ( CAR ) as interning variabel on Islamic Public Banks Listed on the Financial Services Authority from 2008 to 2014 period. The population in this study 12 Islamic Public Banks in Indonesia. After passing through purposive sampling, there are 5 samples of Islamic Public Banks. This study uses secondary data from the Annual Report (Annual Report) each of the banks listed in the Financial Services Authority. The analysis method used is Path Analysis Path (Path Analysis). Results that show : (1) Financing Problem (NPF) negative effect not significantly to Profitability (ROA), (2) Financing Problem (NPF) positive effect not significantly negative to Rate Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), (3) The level of capital adequacy (CAR) negative effect to Profitability (ROA), (4) The level of capital adequacy (CAR) is intervening variable can affect but not significantly the relationship of Financing Problems (NPF) with profitability (ROA).
