Abstract
This research aimed to determine the effect of a dose of goat manure and mycorrhiza on the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). This research has been conducted in Quarter Jami, Village Kalodran, Subdistrict Walantaka, Regency Serang, Province Banten in June 2015 through August 2015. The results of this research indicate that the dosage of a goat manure k 10 ton ha (3 kg/plot) in sweet corn crops give better effect against roots infection by mycorrhiza (56,66%), plant height 2 MST (27,50 cm), 4 MST (70,70 cm) and 6 MST (93,94 cm), leaf area (2797,34 cm), root dry weight (4,16 g), the gross weight cob (176,66 g) , cob diameter (3,75 cm). Mycorrhizal m dose treatment (30 g/planting hole) in plants sweet corn significantly affect both the variables roots infection by mycorrhiza (57,77%), plant height 4 MST (70,75 cm), and root dry weight (4,31 g). There is an interaction between the dosage of a goat manure (k) and a dose of mycorrhiza (m) of the dry weight of stem variables (30,71 g) in sweet corn plants.
