Abstract

Indonesian Islamic Students Movement (PMII) Cilegon City is a non-profit organization consisting of commissioner / campus in the city of Cilegon. As is common knowledge that the performance of PMII Cilegon is not maximized. It can be seen from several things, among others, the least active members participating directly in any activities of the organization. And not all or only a small portion or board members who are eager to perform the function of the organization, so in this case need to do an analysis of the organization's members PMII to know the basic motive of each individual every thing was to do the appropriate policy to support the achievement of the organization's vision. It is also in recognition of this social motivation can be a reference as organizational leaders to approach and develop policies that correspond to the basic motivation of individuals in the organization. Social motivation is one of the main factors that determine the quality and attitude of a person in their daily activities and performance within the organization. Member satisfaction is the attitude of someone who does the job with the state is satisfied that no pressure occurs. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of social motivation to the satisfaction of members and also to know the type of social motivation that has the most impact in influencing satisfaction improvement in the organization's members in the city cilegon PMII. The hypothesis drawn from this study is that there is a positive effect on satisfaction among social motivation and social motivation that has the most impact on satisfaction. As this study used a software method of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that all the significant influence of the social motivation to satisfaction. It was concluded that the Need for Power has the most powerful influence when compared to other variables with the value of the content standard factors of 0.47 and Need for Achievement as a variable with a slightly weaker influence on satisfaction this is indicated by the value of the standard factor loading of 0.41 , Keywords: Structural Equation Modelling, Social Motivation, Member Satisfaction / employment
