Abstract

The formulations of the problem in research this were (1) was there any influence of poster graphic media toward converting compleks procedures teks into short text drama at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Cilegon, (2) was there any influence of picture media series toward converting compleks procedures teks into short text drama at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Cilegon, (3) was there any significant difference between learning used poster graphic media and picture media series of the results of skill converted compleks procedures teks into short text drama at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Cilegon. The purpose of this research was to understand the influence of using poster graphic media and pictures series of the results of skill converted compleks procedures teks into short text drama at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Cilegon. The method that used in this research was true experimental design with a pattern pretest-postest control groups design. Simple random sampling technique was used in this research and the rsearcher took two classes, class XI MIPA 7 as a class experimentation and XI MIPA 1 as a class control and use instruments test. Based on the results of data analysis testing that were normality, homogenity, linearity, and the hypothesis uji-t with significant level α = 0.05, in the experimental class found that in the pretest, teaching learning using graphic posters media got average, was 70,05 with the score was 45,62 and it means that there was influence of media graphic posters. In the control class found that teaching learning using picture series media get average, was 61,42 with the score 50,71 and it means that there was influence of using picture series media. There is a significant difference in the mean posttest experimental treatment classes using the media mean posters with 70.05 graphics and controls that are getting the treatments use media image series with average 61.42. Thus, the difference between the mean posttest experimental class differences and posttest class control over the results of a complex procedure text converts the skills into the text of short plays on the students of class XI of 8.63 points. Then Ha received, results of the study suggested that the poster graphics media more influential than with media images of the series against the skill convert complex procedure text into text short plays on the students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Cilegon.
