Abstract
This research was motivated by the low activity of learning and learning outcomes of students in the subjects of Social Sciences (IPS). This is evident from the results of theMiddle Deuteronomy Semester (UTS) are lower in social studies lerning outcomes, with an average value of 57.6 obtained by the student. This value is below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is equal to 63.3. So students who meet the new KKM approximately 42.55% of the total number of students, so it needs a lot more improvement. This research is motivated by low learning outcomes and student activities. In addition, learning activities are dominated by the teacher so that learning activities are focused to the teacher (Teacher Center) and not to the student. (Student Center) in social studies learning that result in lower learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the application of the trans sector project learning in social studies lesson on the concept of Economic Activity in improving student learning outcomes and to determine how student learning activities with the application of the trans sector project. This study uses action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study using a test and non test. The test is an objective test consists of a multiple choice test. While non test consist of observations and interviews. Based on the research that has been done, there is an increase in student learning outcomes and the activities going on every cycle. In the first cycle of activities students get a percentage of 72.91 %. Then in the second cycle students increased activity of 86.10 %. Besides improving students learning outcomes has increased cycle, starting from the first cycle to get the average value of 64.46 with percentage of 63.82 % after the second cycle of improving students learning outcomes at an average of 78.72 with a minimum completeness criteria (KKM) 63.3. The application of this study stated that the application of the trans sector projects to improve learning outcomes IPS on the concept of economic activity in the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sukaratu 2.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Hal ini terlihat dari hasil Ulangan Tengah Semester (UTS) yang rendah pada hasil pembelajaran IPS, dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa 57,6. Nilai ini dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) yaitu sebesar 63.3. Jadi siswa yang memenuhi KKM yakni baru sekitar 42,55% dari jumlah siswa seluruhnya, sehingga perlu banyak perbaikan lagi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran lebih didominasi oleh guru sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran lebih berpusat kepada guru (Teacher Center) dan bukan kepada siswa. (Student Center) dalam pembelajaran IPS yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model pembelajaran proyek trans sector dalam pembelajaran IPS pada konsep Kegiatan Ekonomi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah aktivitas belajar siswa dengan penerapan model proyek trans sector. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan nontes. Tes tersebut adalah berupa tes objektif terdiri dari tes pilihan ganda. Sedangkan nontes terdiri dari observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar serta aktivitas siswa terjadi setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus pertama aktivitas siswa mendapatkan presentase 72.91%. Kemudian pada siklus kedua terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa sebesar 86.10 %. Selain itu peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya, berawal dari siklus I mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 64,46 dengan presentase 63,82% kemudian pada siklus II peningkatan hasil belajar siswa mencapai rata-rata 78,72 dengan presentase 85,10% dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 63.3. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan model proyek trans sector dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada konsep kegiatan ekonomi pada siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri Sukaratu 2 | |||||||||
