Abstract

This paperhas purpose to know the “Process And Administration Import Of Tungsten Carbide In PT. Asoka Waja Wisesa”. PT. Asoka Wisesa Waja is a company engaged in the General Contractor and Mechanical Part Trading Workshop. One of its businessis a supplier that serve to bring Tungsten carbide as raw material production from abroad (import). Importers are required to be a good facilitator to satisfy customers and maximize the quality of the company's performance. As a facilitator, the importer must implement administrative support import process to work effectively and efficiently. The method of writing this paper uses descriptive method, which describes the results of activities under taken intern ships at PT. Asoka Waja Wisesa. The type of data that is used in the form of primary data ,it is from the company through observation and interviews to employees of PT. Asoka Waja Wisesa and secondary data, it is obtained from reports, records and through books associated with this research. Source of the data obtained in this study from observation, and the company’s reports. The results obtained that imports of tungsten carbide which is applied in the PT. Asoka Wisesa Waja is a cash purchase through exporters and delivered through third party services ( UPS express ). Documents or forms used in purchases (import) of tungsten carbide is Purchase Order ( PO ), proof of bank transfer, requisition goods, goods receipt report , and delivery order. The process of importof Tungsten Carbide at PT. Asoka Waja Wisesa are: ordering goods, requests for quotation, purchase order, receipt and recording goods.
