Abstract

Additional Information: Root-knot nematode parasites of Meloidogyne sp. is one of pest plant organism which is the constraints on ginger central production in Indonesia. The researchers is focusing on integration of biological control agent in strategies of controlling nematode parasites. The purpose of this research was to selected the isolates of endophytic bacteria from ginger plant which has potential as agent of root-knot nematode that caused Meloidogyne sp. through in vitro which conducted on periode month of april-june 2014 at Laboratorium of disease, the group of researches of plant protection, spices and medical plant research center, bogorjawa barat. The research used complitely randomized design with single treatment endophytic bacteria (59 isolates) and control with 3 times replacement. The research consisted of testing the effect of immersion filtrate of endophytic bacteria againts J2 mortality and hatching eggs of Meloidogyne sp. Testing results obtained 9 (nine) endophytic bacteria isolates that showed the significant on causing larva mortality and inhibition on hatching eggs of Meloidogyne sp. There were IKIAN 3.2.2R, JC 2.1.2R, JPR 2.102 , JPRS 2A, IKIAN 1.2, JC 2.2.1R, IKIAN 1.1B, IKIN 1.4, IKIN 2.102 . Those nine isolates could be test on further tested at green house on ginger plant that inoculated with Meloidogyne sp. nematode.
Uncontrolled Keywords: Key words : Biological control, endophytic bacteria, root-knot nematode and Meloidogyne sp.
