Abstract

The development of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia is already experiencing increased rapidly and already have a place that provides sufficient influence in the national banking environment. The existence of Islamic banking started at the time of issuance of law No. 7 of 1992 on banking, where the law is the driving force behind the presence of Sharia-based banking system. In the process, the law was eventually changed to the law No. 10 of 1998 that describes the sharia banking system more clearly than the previous law. Final Project is about Assessment Procedures or Warranties of Collateral at Bank Mega Syariah Units Rau Serang. The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure and assessment methods Assurance. Research results indicate that the collateral valuation procedures applied have been good but much better enhanced oversight that no objective assessment of the assessment that is not a guarantee.
