Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the influence of liquidity on firm value (2) the influence of liquidity on capital structure (3) the influence of capital structure on firm value (4) the influence of liquidity on firm value, which using capital structure as intervening variabel. The samples are the company Textile and Garment listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the study period is 2004-2013. Total population are 20 companies and sample are 6 companies. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the form of financial statements are published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Data analysis method used is path analysis. The results showed that: 1) liquidity hasn’t positive effect on firm value and insignificant 2) liquidity has negative effect and significant on capital structure 3) capital structure modal hasn’t positive effect and insignificant on firm value, 4) capital structure is not intervening variable can affect the relationship of liquidity and firm value.
