Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh weblog terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa dalam menulis teks recount pada siswa kelas sepuluh SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui quasi eksperimen non-ekuivalen sebagai desain penelitian. Sampel yang digunakan dalam hal ini penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IIS 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan siswa kelas X IIS 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Setiap kelas terdiri dari 30 siswa, sehingga jumlah sampelnya adalah 60 . siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pada setiap elemen recount dalam kelas kontrol adalah 9,83 untuk orientasi dan menjadi 18,20, kejadiannya adalah 14 dan menjadi 16,33, reorientasinya adalah 2,33 dan menjadi 14, dan fitur bahasanya adalah 8,50 dan menjadi 14,50. Rata-rata nilai total pada pre-test adalah 34,67 dan menjadi 63 pada pasca-tes. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 8,83 untuk orientasi dan menjadi 16,83, kejadiannya adalah 12 dan menjadi 20,50, reorientasinya adalah 0,67 dan menjadi 17, dan fitur bahasa adalah 5,67 dan menjadi 15,33. Rata-rata dari total skor di pre-test adalah 27,17 dan menjadi 69,67 di post-test. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan uji-t independen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa t-test lebih tinggi dari t-tabel (10,37 > 2,045) pada kelompok kontrol dan uji-t pada kelompok eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dari t-tabel (30,57 > 2,045). Artinya hipotesis alternatif (Ha) adalah diterima. Jadi, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari weblog terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa dalam menulis teks recount pada siswa kelas sepuluh SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang.

| Additional Information: | The objective of the research is to find out the influence of weblog towards students’ writing ability in writing recount text at the tenth grade students of SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang. This research used quantitative approach through quasi�experimental non-equivalent as a research design. The samples that used in this research were the students of X IIS 3 as the control group and X IIS 4 as the experimental group. Each class consisted of 30 students, so the sample total was 60 students. The result showed that the average score in each elements of recount in control class are 9.83 for orientation and became 18.20, the events is 14 and became 16.33, the reorientation is 2.33 and became 14, and the language feature is 8.50 and became 14.50. The average of total score in pre-test is 34.67 and became 63 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the average score of experimental class are 8.83 for orientation and became 16.83, the events is 12 and became 20.50, the reorientation is 0.67 and became 17, and the language feature is 5.67 and became 15.33. The average of total score in pre-test is 27.17 and became 69.67 in the post-test. The hypothesis test used independent t-test. The result of this research showed that t-test is higher than t-table (10,37 > 2,045) in control group and the t-test in experimental group also was higher than t-table (30,57 > 2,045). It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. So, the researcher concluded that there was a significant influence of weblog toward students’ writing ability in writing recount text at tenth grade students of SMAN 6 Kabupaten Tangerang. | |||||||||
