Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tim siswa Teknik pembagian prestasi (STAD) pada Kemampuan Menulis Teks Deskriptif Siswa di Kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif menerapkan desain eksperimen semu sebagai metode penelitian. Ada dua kelas digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang, 28 siswa dari masing-masing kelas. Peneliti menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan Teknik Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap kemampuan menulis teks deskriptif siswa, ditunjukkan dengan nilai t-test lebih tinggi dari nilai dari t-tabel (0,507 > 0,374) artinya hipotesis alternatif diterima. Dari itu Dari temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pengaruh Divisi Prestasi Tim Siswa (STAD) Teknik Menulis Deskriptif Teks Kemampuan Siswa sangat dianjurkan.

Additional Information: The objective of this research was to find out the influence of students team achievement division (STAD) Technique on Students‟ Writing Descriptive Text Ability at Eight Grade of MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang. The researcher used quantitative research implementing the quasi experimental design as the research method. There were two classes used in this research. The control class and experimental class. Sample of this research is students MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang, 28 students from each class. The researcher found that there significant influence of students team achievement division (STAD) Technique on students‟ writing descriptive text ability, indicated by the value of t-test higher than the value of t-table (0.507 > 0.374) it means that alternative hypothesis was accepted. From those findings, it can be concluded that The Influence of Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) Technique on Students‟ Writing Descriptive Text ability is highly encouraged.
