Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan pengaruh dan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif dengan menggunakan Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer pada kelas II SMK Informatika Kota Serang. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kuasi eksperimen desain sebagai metode penelitian. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SMK Informatika Kota Serang. Kelas-kelasnya adalah dipilih secara acak dari delapan kelas. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa APK 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan RPL 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan 25 siswa sebagai sampel dari kedua kelas. Dengan menggunakan ini metode, peneliti melakukan percobaan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen setelah perlakuan. Itu Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti adalah menulis teks deskriptif. Selain itu, peneliti menggunakan isi dan konstruk untuk mengetahui validitas tes dan Alpha Rumus Cronbrach untuk menguji reliabilitas. Setelah mengumpulkan data, peneliti dianalisis dengan menggunakan T-test. Peneliti mendapatkan hasil dari uji signifikansi atau hitung “t” adalah , sedangkan tabel “t” adalah 1,23. Ini menunjukkan bahwa hitung “t” lebih tinggi dari tabel “t” (7,23 1,23). Oleh karena itu, hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif diterima. Setelah peneliti menerapkan metode tersebut, respon siswa sudah baik. Mereka merasa antusias dan tertarik untuk belajar menulis dengan metode baru. Jadi, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan dari kemampuan menulis siswa melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer pada kelas II SMK Informatika Kota Serang.

| Additional Information: | The aims of the research is to find out whether there is a significant influence and improvement of students’ ability in writing descriptive text by using Computer Based Learning at the second grade of SMK Informatika Kota Serang. In this research, the researcher used quantitative approach with quasi experimental design as method of the research. The population of the research was all of the students at the second grade of SMK Informatika Kota Serang. The classes were chosen randomly from the eight classes. The sample that was used in this research was the students of APK 1 as an experimental class and RPL 1 as a control class. The research used 25 students as sample from both of classes. By using this method, the researcher conducted the experiment in order the find out the significant influence and improvement in experiment class after treatment. The instrument used by the researcher was writing descriptive text. Moreover, the researcher used content and construct to know the validity of the test and Alpha Cronbrach Formula to test the reliability. After collecting data, the researcher analyzed them by using T-test. The researcher got the result from significance test or “t” count is , while, the “t” table is 1,23. It shows that “t” count is higher than “t” table (7.23 ≥ 1,23). Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. After the researcher applied that method, the students’ response was good. They felt enthusiasm and interest to learn writing with new method. So, the result shows that there was significant improvement of students’ writing ability through Computer Based Learning at the second grade of SMK Informatika Kota Serang. | |||||||||
