Instructional Technology Management Concentration Education Post Graduate Sultan Agung Tirtayasa University 2015 The nature of the teacher is a crucial component in the success of education. It is indeed reasonable, because the teacher is spearheading that relate directly to the students as subjects and objects of study. However nice and Ideally education curriculum, how full of educational facilities and how strong the enthusiastic learners being offset by the ability of the teacher, then everything will be less meaningful, for it is necessary to research related to the supervision of the school principal and teacher competence in the performance of teachers. The research objective was to determine the relationship of supervision of the school principal to teacher performance, to determine the relationship of teacher competence with teacher performance and to determine the relationship of supervision of the school principal and teacher competence with SMKN teacher performance as the city of Serang. Population consisted of 264 teachers and 73 teachers SMKN sample Se-Serang, research time in March and June 2015. This study is a survey research with a quantitative approach. The results showed the supervision of the school principal to teacher performance has a positive and significant correlation coefficient 0.511 and the t count> t table is 5.011> 1.994, the competence of teachers with teacher performance has a positive and significant correlation coefficient 0.502 and the t count> t table is 4.890> 1,994, supervision of principals and competence of teachers with teacher performance has a positive and significant correlation with a correlation coefficient of 0.615 and t count> t table that is 21.292> 3.126. The conclusions of this research is that there is a positive relationship between the supervision of the school principal to teacher performance, there is a positive relationship between the competence of teachers with teacher performance and there is a positive relationship between the supervision of the school principal and teacher competence in the performance of teachers. Recommendations advice to principals should be the principal intensively supervised activities, such as overseeing the teaching and learning activities, providing motivation to teachers, helping teachers in each of the problems related to teaching and learning. for teachers in order to produce a good performance, then the teacher should be to have some ability to include personal abilities such as being able to manage the class, using the media and methods of learning. There needs to be a kind of research with different themes to test various theories of management education, as well as by selecting the other variables are still within the scope of the performance of teachers to uncover other variables that greatly affect the performance of teachers.

Hal ini memang wajar, sebab guru merupakan ujung tombak yang berhubungan langsung dengan siswa sebagai subjek dan objek belajar. Bagaimanapun bagus dan Idealnya kurikulum pendidikan, bagaimana lengkapnya sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dan bagaimana kuatnya antusias peserta didik, tanpa diimbangi dengan kemampuan guru, maka semuanya akan kurang bermakna, untuk itu perlu diadakan penelitian yang berhubungan dengan supervisi kepala sekolah dan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru, untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru dan untuk mengetahui hubungan supervisi kepala sekolah dan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru SMKN se-Kota Serang. Populasi terdiri dari 264 guru dan sample 73 guru SMKN Se-Kota Serang, waktu penelitian bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan koefesien korelasi 0,511 dan t hitung > t yaitu 5,011 > 1,994, kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan koefesien korelasi 0,502 dan t hitung > t tabel tabel yaitu 4,890 > 1,994, supervisi kepala sekolah dan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan koefesien korelasi 0,615 dan t > t yaitu 21,292 > 3,126. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara supervisi kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru, terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru dan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara supervisi kepala sekolah dan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru. Rekomendasi saran untuk kepala sekolah sebaiknya kepala sekolah secara intensif melakukan kegiatan supervisi, seperti mengawasi kegiatan belajar mengajar, memberikan motivasi kepada guru, membantu guru dalam setiap permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan belajar mengajar. untuk guru dalam rangka menghasilkan kinerja yang baik, maka guru harus lebih memiliki beberapa kemampuan diantaranya kemampuan pribadi seperti mampu mengelola kelas, menggunakan media maupun metode pembelajaran. Perlu ada penelitian yang sejenis dengan tema yang berbeda untuk menguji berbagai teori-teori manajemen pendidikan, serta dengan memilih variabel lain yang masih dalam lingkup kinerja guru untuk mengungkap variabel lain yang berpengaruh besar terhadap kinerja guru. | |||||||||
