Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan perbaikannya kemampuan berbicara siswa melalui media pembelajaran interaktif. Dalam membangun ini penelitian, peneliti mengumpulkan data dari penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan melalui empat tahap dan menggambarkan proses menggunakan data kualitatif analisis. Kegiatan dimulai dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah kelas VIII-H yang terdiri dari 27 siswa kelas II SMP di SMP Negeri 2 Cilegon pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan pretest dan posttest dan mengukur nilai rata-rata menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat diketahui signifikansi nilai siswa dari pretest dan posttest. Semua proses belajar mengajar disajikan dengan bantuan video. Video tersebut adalah tentang percakapan memberikan pendapat dan persetujuan teks antarpribadi. Setelah perlakuan dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran interaktif di setiap siklus, kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris meningkat. Itu bisa dilihat dari hasil pre-test adalah 69,74 dan hasil post-test adalah 94,11. Dia menyimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif dalam keterampilan berbicara efektif cara untuk membantu siswa dalam menguasai berbicara dan memberikan beberapa manfaat bagi siswa dalam untuk memudahkan mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris.

Additional Information: | The objective of this research is to describe the process and the improvement of students’ speaking ability through interactive learning media. In constructing this research, the researcher collected data from classroom action research which was carried out through four stages and describe the process using qualitative data analysis. The activities were begun from planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this classroom action research was VIII-H which consists of 27 students who involved second grade of Junior high school at SMP Negeri 2 Cilegon in the academic year of 2013/2014. To know the result of this research, the researcher did pretest and posttest and measure the mean score using quantitative data analysis. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen the significant of the students’ score from pretest and posttest. All of the teaching learning processes were presented by the help of video. Those videos were about the conversation of giving opinion and agreement of interpersonal text. After the treatment by implementing interactive learning media in each cycle, the students’ ability in speaking English was improved. It can be seen from the result of pre-test was 69.74 and the result in post-test was 94.11. It concluded that interactive learning and teaching media in speaking skill is effective way to help students in mastering speaking and give some benefits for the students in order to facilitate them in learning English | |||||||||
