Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil dua varietas tanaman terong (Solanum melongena L.) akibat pemberian beberapa dosis pupuk NPK majemuk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terong. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Hortikultura Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Banten, pada Juni sampai Oktober 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk NPK majemuk (T), terdiri dari lima taraf yaitu: 300 kg/ha (T1), 350 kg/ha (T2), 400 kg/ha (T3), 450 kg/ha (T4), 500 kg/ha (T5). Faktor kedua adalah jenis varietas yang berbeda (P) , terdiri dari dua taraf yaitu: Panjalu (P1), Ratih Ungu (P2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Panjalu memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter : tinggi tanaman 1 MST (9,33 cm), 2 MST (13,75 cm), 3 MST (18,71 cm), 4 MST (23,31 cm), jumlah daun 1 MST (5,53 helai), 2 MST (9,46 helai), 3 MST (17,66 helai), 4 MST (25,26 helai), luas daun (3524,3 cm2 ), umur berbunga (33,20 HST), panjang buah 14 MST (15,63 cm), diameter buah 11 MST (4,19 mm), bobot buah 11 MST (105,18 g), jumlah buah (1,61 buah). Pemberian pupuk NPK majemuk pada pertumbuhan dan produksi Terong memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter : panjang buah 14 MST (16,63 cm), diameter buah 11 MST (4,31 mm), 14 MST (4,27 mm), dan bobot buah 11 MST (125,65 g), 14 MST (108,43 g). Perlakuan pupuk NPK terbaik yang berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun yaitu dosis pupuk NPK 300 kg/ha. Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan dosis pupuk NPK terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 1 MST (11,33 cm), panjang buah 14 MST (16,80 cm), diameter buah 11 MST (6,40 mm), dan bobot buah 11 MST (169,30 g

Additional Information: The research was aimed to know growth and yield two varieties of eggplant ( Solanum melongena L.) as a result of giving some dose of NPK compound fertilizer. This research was conducted at Horticultural Trial Garden, Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Serang City, Banten, From June until October 2014. This research used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with two factors of treatment. The first factor was some doses of NPK Compound Fertilizer (T), that consisted : 300 kg/Ha (T1), 350 kg/Ha (T2), 400 kg/Ha (T3), 450 kg/Ha (T4), 500 kg/Ha (T5). The second factor was type of different varieties (P), that consisted : Panjalu (P1) and Ratih Ungu (P2). The results showed that treatment are varieties Panjalu best varieties significantly affect the parameters, namely: 1 Week After Planting plant height (9.33 cm), 2 Weeks After Planting (13.75 cm), 3 Weeks After Planting (18.71 cm), 4 Weeks After Planting (23, 31 cm), number of leaves 1 Week After Planting (5.53 pieces), 2 Weeks After Planting (9.46 strands), 3 Weeks After Planting (17.66 strands), 4 Weeks After Planting (25,26 strands), leaf area (3524.3 cm2 ) , days to flowering (33.20 Day After Planting), fruit length 14 Weeks After Planting (15.63 cm), fruit diameter 11 Weeks After Planting (4.19 mm), fruit weight 11 Weeks After Planting (105.18 g), the amount of fruit (fruit 1.61 ). Compound NPK fertilizer on the growth and production Eggplant significantly affect the parameters, namely: 14 Weeks After Planting fruit length (16.63 cm), fruit diameter 11 Weeks After Planting (4.31 mm), 14 Weeks After Planting (4.27 mm), and the weight of the fruit 11 Weeks After Planting (125.65 g), 14 MST (108.43 g). The best treatment NPK fertilizer effect on the growth of plant height and number of leaves was NPK fertilizer dose of 300 kg / ha. There was interaction between a varieties and doses of NPK fertilizer treatment about plant high 11 Weeks After Planting (11.33 cm), fruit’s length parameter 11, 12, 13 weeks after planting, fruit’s diameter 13 weeks after planting, and fruit’s weight 12, 13 weeks after planting, fruit length 14 Weeks After Planting (16.80 cm), fruit diameter 11 Weeks After Planting (6.40 mm) and fruit weight 11 Weeks After Planting (169.30 g)
