Abstract

Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuiresponspertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicumL.)pada variasai jarak tanam dan varietas yang berbeda.Penelitiandilaksanakanpada bulanJulisampaiAgustus 2014di KebunPercobaanHortikultura, BalaiPengkajianTeknologiPertanian (BPTP) Banten dan Laboratorium Teknologi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa.PenelitianinimenggunakanRancanganAcakKelompok (RAK) denganduafaktor.Faktorpertamajaraktanam (J)yang terdiridariempattarafyaitu:J1 (20cm x 10cm), J2 (20cm x 15cm), J3 (20cm x 20cm), danJ4 (20cm x 25cm).Faktorkeduavarietasbawangmerah (V)yang terdiridariempattarafyaitu V1 (Bima), V2 (Kuning), V3 (Katumi), dan V4 (Pikatan).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan tanaman terbaik pada perlakuan jarak tanam 20 cm x 10 cm (J1) jumlah daun umur 1 MST (11,08 helai) dan 2 MST (18,16 helai). Varietas Bima menunjukan pertumbuhan yang terbaik pada pengamatan tinggi tanaman (38,98 cm). Varietas Kuning menunjukan pertumbuhan yang terbaik pada peubah pengamatan jumlah daun (28,58 helai), varietas Bima memberikan hasil yang terbaik pada peubah bobot kering tanaman sampel (46,23 g).Terdapatinteraksi antara jarak tanam 20 cm x 25 cm dan varietas Bima terhadap peubah bobot basah tanaman sampel (80,66 g), bobot kering tanaman sampel (64,82 g).

Additional Information: This research was aimed to know response of growth and yield of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) on distance spacing variation and different varieties. The research was conducted atBalai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Banten from July until August 2014. This research used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) as factorial that Consisted of two factors. The first factor was(J), plant spacing, consisted of four levels there wereJ1 (20 cm x 10cm), J2 (20 cmx 15cm), J3 (20cm x 20cm) and J4 (20 cm x 25 cm). The second factor was(V) onion factor varieties consists of four levels, there were V1 (Bima), V2 (Kuning), V3 (Katumi), V4 (Pikatan). The result showed that the best growth was distance spacing variation 20cm x 10 cm (J1) to leaf number 1 week after planting (11,08 sheets) and 2 weeks after planting (18,16 sheets). Varieties Bima showed the best growth in plant height variables (38,98 cm). Varieties Kuning showed that best growth in variables leaf number (28,58 sheets), varieties Bima gaved the best results in variables plant dry weight(46,23 g). There was an interaction between Plant20 cm x 25 cm and varieties, Bima wet weight of the was plant variables l (80,66 g), plant dry weight (64,82 g)
