Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII dengan menggunakan model SAVI (somatic, auditory, visual, dan intelectual) pada konsep zat aditif makanan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP 7 Serang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII A yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Kemampuan kognitif siswa diukur menggunakan tes pilihan ganda, afektif diukur menggunakan angket dan psikomotor diukur menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa yaitu sebesar 77,46 dengan kategori baik, afektif sebesar 79,64 dengan kategori kuat dan psikomotor sebesar 78,51 dengan kategori baik.

The purpose of this research was to determine the result of study using SAVI (somatic, auditory, visual, and intelectual) model on the concept of food additives . The population of research was all eight grade students of SMP 7 Serang 2014/2015 academic year. The sample of this study was VIII A, which was determined by simple random sampling technique. The cognitive learning skills of students were measured using a multiple-choice test, of affective skills was measured used a questionnaire, while psychomotor skills was measured used by observation sheet. The result of this results of this research showed that average cognitive skill of students was 77,46 with both categories, result of affective was 79,64 with good and result was psychomotor of 78,51 with both categories.
