Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan olah tanah dan pemberian dosis pupuk kotoran hewan kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Desa Teritih Kecamatan Walantaka Kota Serang Provinsi Banten pada bulan Desember 2014 sampai Maret 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan olah tanah (D) dengan 3 taraf, yaitu D0 (tanpa olah tanah), D1 (olah tanah minimum), D2 (olah tanah maksimum). Faktor kedua adalah pemberian dosis pupuk kotoran hewan kambing (K) dengan 4 taraf yaitu K0 ( tanpa pupuk kotoran hewan kambing), K1 (5 ton/ha), K2 (10 ton/ha), K3 (15 ton/ha). Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali sehingga diperoleh 36 satuan percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot tongkol berkelobot per sampel, bobot tongkol tanpa berkelobot per sampel, panjang tongkol, lingkar tongkol, bobot tongkol berkelobot per petak, bobot tongkol tanpa berkelobot per petak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan D0 (tanpa olah tanah) cenderung memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 2 MST (29,45 cm), 3 MST (48,30 cm). Perlakuan D2 (olah tanah maksimum) memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 4 MST (8,62 helai), 5 MST (10,53 helai), 6 MST (11,59 helai) dan diameter tongkol 10 MST (3,18 cm). Pemberian dosis pupuk kotoran hewan kambing dengan dosis 10 ton/ha (K2) mampu memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap semua parameter pengamatan jagung manis kecuali luas daun (3935,42 cm2 ) dan diameter tongkol (3,54 cm) yang cenderung lebih baik diberi pupuk dengan dosis 15 ton/ha. Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan olah tanah (D) dan dosis pupuk kotoran hewan kambing (K) terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman umur 5 MST ditunjukkan pada kombinasi perlakuan D0K2 dengan nilai 148,45 cm, jumlah daun pada perlakuan D0K2 4 MST (10,05 helai), perlakuan D2K3 5 MST (11,39 helai), perlakuan D0K1 6 MST (12,22 helai), perlakuan D2K3 luas daun (399,23 cm2 ), perlakuan D0K2 bobot tongkol berkelobot per sampel (361,1 g), perlakuam D0K2 bobot tongkol tanpa berkelobot per sampel (302,78 g), perlakuan D0K3 panjang tongkol (19,72 cm), perlakuan D0K3 diameter tongkol (3,67 cm), perlakuan D0K2 bobot tongkol berkelobot per petak 10 MST (3633,3 g) dan perlakuan D1K3 bobot tongkol tanpa berkelobot per petak 10 MST (3200 g).

Additional Information: A research was conducted to find out if the treatment of soil and fertilizer dosing of goat dung and crop yield growth of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). This research was conducted in Village Teritih District Walantaka in Province Banten from December 2014 until March 2015. This research used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) as factorial with two factors. The first factor was the tillage treatment (D) with 3 levels; D0 (no tillage), D1 (minimum tillage) and D2 (maximum tillage). The second factor was dosing goat manure fertilizer (K) with 4 levels; K0 (without the goat dung fertilizer), K1 (5 tons/ha), K2 (10 tons/ha), K3 (15 tons/ha). Each treatment was repeated three times to obtain 36 experimental units. The parameters measured were higer plants, number of leaves, broad leaf, gross weight cob per sample, net weight cob per sample, length cob, diameter cob, gross weight cobs per plot, and net weight cobs per plot. The results showed that no tillage treatment D0 (no tillage) tend to give good influence on plant height at age 2 WAP (29,45 cm), 3 MST (48,30 cm). Treatment D2 (maximum tillage) provide a good influence against the number of leaves on 4 WAP (8,62 strands), 5 WAP (10,53 strands), 6 WAP (11,59 strands) and diameter cob 10 WAP (3,18 strands). Dosing goat manure fertilizer with a dose 10 tons/ha (K2) capable of providing a good influence for all parameters sweet corn except observations of the leaf (3935,42 cm2 ) and the diameter cob (3,54 cm) tend to be better given the fertilizer with a dose 15 tons/ha. There was an interaction between the tillage treatment and dosing goat manure fertilizer on the growth to parameters 5 WAP shown on combination treatment of D0K2 with a value 148,45 cm, the number of leaves on the treatment D0K2 4 WAP (10,05 strands), treatment D2K3 5 WAP (11,39 strands), treatment D0K1 6 WAP (12,22 strands), treatment D0K1 6 WAP (12,22 strands), treatment D2K3 0f leaves (399,23 cm2 ), treatment D0K2 gross weight cob per sample (361,1 g), treatment net weight cob per sample (302,78 g), treatment D0K3 length cob (19,72 cm), treatment D0K3 diameter cob (3,67 cm), treatment D0K2 gross weight cobs per plot (3633,3 g), and treatment D1K3 net weight cobs per plot (1600 g).
