Abstract

Additional Information: Technology in the construction field has increased continously, the increase in the construction field leads to the use of high quality concrete. Technological developments in the production of high quality concrete cause the material development of the forming materials concrete include cement. Cement production has a shift from OPC into PCC (Portland Composite Cement) and PPC (Portland Pozzolan Cement). PCC and PPC are cement which has almost equivalent technical characteristics to the type I of cement (OPC) and the use of material addition that is water reducer. The method of this research is to compare the use levels of water reducer with percentage 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6%, 2% per the weight of cement. Water reducer which is used in this research method is Ligno material C 491. The results of this research is the average of compressive strength concrete in 28 days using material addition C491 with additives percentage 0.8% is amount 37.180 MPa and that is the highest value while the value of average compressive strength on the using of additives percentage 1.2% is amount 33,89 MPa, the value of average compressive strength on the using of additives percentage 1.6% is amount 32,107 MPa and the value of average compressive strength on the using of additives percentage 2% is amount 30,203 MPa. The using of water reducer lingo C491 can reduce of water using at percentage of 0.8% is amount 2.11%, at percentage of 1.2% is amount 3.175%, at percentage of 1.6% is amount 4.23% and at percentage of 2% is amount 5.29%.
