Abstract
The views were paradoxical humor, one of which will lead to space philosophy. The room itself was born of philosophy and present in a system of culture in a society. Therefore, this analysis attributed the paradoxical humor, philosophy and culture of Java; so the identity of the birth and is present in the characters in the novel Wasripin and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo. In an effort to election literature teaching materials, the researchers chose the novel Wasripi and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo and vocational learning plan. The problem is formulated in the form of questions: 1) What kind of texts containing dialogues in the novel Wasripin paradoxical humor and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo? 2) How does the interpretation of philosophy and culture of Java related to the meaning posed in text analysis dialog containing paradoxical humor? 3) Do the study results can be used as learning materials in vocational ?. The purpose of this research is 1) Knowing dialog texts that contain or imply an element of humor and paradoxical in novei Wasripin Satinah, by Kuntowijoyo. 2) Knowing the link between text paradoxical humor dialogue with the philosophy and values of Javanese culture. 3) Determine appropriateness, meaningfulness, and usefulness of the results of the analysis as students in vocational learning materials. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source research is novel Wasripin and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo. Necessary data in this study is a sentence / dialog containing the paradoxical humor is also worth Javanese cultural philosophy contained in the novel Wasripin and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo. The results achieved in this study is that the novel Wasripin and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo contains humor and valuable paradoxical philosophies of Javanese culture system includes community and religious system. The purpose of learning is that students are able to find humor paradox and philosophical values of Javanese culture in the novel Wasripin and Satinah by Kuntowijoyo and commented on the paradoxical humor and philosophical values of Javanese culture in Javanese life. The method used in the study is a discussion and assignments. Evaluation used in the study was at the time of presentation of the group.
