Abstract

The pattern of economic development in developing countries in general placing agriculture as the main agenda in an effort to boost economic growth. In order to increase production will be scarcity of chemical fertilizers and pesticides started diupayakn optimization extension activities, namely the application of semi-organic farming. This study aims to examine the role of agricultural extension workers in the decision-making process innovation on organic semi cucumber growers and analyze the role of relationship counselor to the decision-making process innovation on organic semi cucumber farmer in the village of the District Sukarame Cikeusal. The basic method used in this study is a survey method. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. The data used is data primer and sekunder.Teknik used data collection through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The correlation analysis using Spearman rank correlation. he results of this study can be seen that the test of significance level of 5% confidence level showed that the relationship role of extension of the decision-making process of innovation in the semi-organic cucumber growers are significant. With a value of 0487 while the significance of the test results showed Tcount 3,002> 2,045 Ttabel which means that there is a relationship between the role of counselor to the decision-making process innovation on organic semi cucumber farmer in the village Sukarame Cikeusal District of Serang District.
