Abstract
The study was a development research that aimed to produce learning modul of metabolism based on the nature of science for 12th grade of senior high school. Learning modules of metabolism are made to develop elements of attitudes, processes, and products This study used 3D model (define, design, and develop). Modul were tested throught the expert assessment instrument. An expert assessment instrument consisted of on instrument sheet with 1 until 5 scale, and there are eight crietrias in it. The assessment was conducted by biology teachers of senior high school and lecturers departement of Biology education. The result of the average score (X) of the expert test of 4.5, meaning that learning modul includes the excellent category
