| Additional Information: | Background of this research is the achivement of civics education is low because they tend to be passive when studying the civics education. The learning process still used teacher centered. To improve the learning outcomes civics education, it is required appropriate learning strategies, one of them by quantum teaching modelling.The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning activities and learning outcomes using learning model of quantum teaching until it reaches at least 75%. This research is Class Action Research, where in every cycle consisted of two meetings, each cycle was done with four phase. Namely planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase and reflection phase. The data collection techniques in this study were by using test instruments, observations of teacher and students’ learning activities, wawancara, as well dokumentation. By the implementation of quantum teaching model, students’ learning activities and learning outcomes increased. In the first cycle, the average of students' learning activities was 40% and in the second cycle increased to be 90%. Likewise, the average of student learning outcomes, from 63% in the first cycle increased to be 90% in the second cycle. So that conclusions can be drawn from this study that the implementation of quantum teaching model can increase students' learning activities and learning outcomes on Civics subject in three grade of Elementary School Sumuranja 2. | |||||||||
