Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa di kelas III-C SDN IPPOR Gudang 1 Kecamatan Tanjung Sari Kabupaten Sumedang masih rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai UTS IPS siswa yang sebagian besar belum mencapai nilai KKM yang ditentukan yaitu ≥70, di mana nilai rata-rata IPS yang diperoleh saat UTS adalah 71.25. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integreted Reading And Composition (CIRC) pada pembelajaran IPS kelas III SD. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil prasiklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2 dengan indikator keberhasilan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 bulan yaitu bulan Maret sampai April 2015, dengan mengambil subjek siswa kelas III-C yang berumlah 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan data yang diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan CIRC mengalami peningkatan. Pada prasiklus rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 57.14 dengan prosentase keberhasilan 28%, kemudian meningkat pada siklus 1 dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 63.9 dengan prosentase keberhasilan 57% dan meningkat kembali pada siklus 2 dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 74.6 dengan prosentase keberhasilan 82%.

Results of student learning in class III-C SDN IPPOR Gudang 1 District of Tanjung Sari Sumedang Regency is still low. It can be seen from the UTS IPS that most of the students have not reached the specified value KKM is ≥70, where the average value obtained when IPS UTS was 71.25. This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes IPS using cooperative learning model Integreted Reading And Composition (CIRC) on teaching third grade of elementary school social studies. This study consisted of two cycles. Data analysis was performed by comparing the results of pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 with indicators of success. This study was conducted during one month ie March to April 2015, with the students taking the subject class III-C, amounting to 28 students. These results indicate the data obtained from the learning process in improving learning outcomes by using a CIRC has increased. On average prasiklus student learning outcomes is 57.14 with the percentage of success of 28%, then the increase in cycle 1 with an average of 63.9 study results with the percentage of success of 57% and increased again in cycle 2 with an average of 74.6 study results with the percentage of success 82 %
