Abstract

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) adalah salah satu metode pengukuran efisiensi dengan beberapa model seperti conventional model dan allocation model. Conventional model adalah model umum DEA yang hanya menggunakan input untuk mengidentifikasi efisiensi, sedangkan allocation model adalah jenis model DEA yang menggunakan alokasi perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi efisiensi. PT. XYZ memiliki masalah efisiensi sehingga merugi pada tahun 2014. Maka diperlukan evaluasi efisiensi agar dapat menggunakan sumber daya secara efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan nilai efisiensi conventional model, menentukan nilai efisiensi allocation model, membandingkan nilai efisiensi conventional dan allocation model dan menentukan usulan perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah allocation model DEA yang peningkatan efisiensinya dengan meminimasi input atau biaya. Kemudian menggunakan 5W+2H untuk menentukan usulan perbaikan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bulan Januari-Desember pada tahun 2014 sudah efisien menggunakan conventional model, menggunakan traditional allocation model pada bulan Mei, Juni dan September sudah efisien dan menggunakan new allocation model pada bulan Mei, Juni dan September sudah efisien, perbedaan pada conventional model, traditional allocation model dan new allocation model tergantung besarnya informasi biaya yang ada dan Usulan perbaikan efisiensi adalah mengurangi biaya material, mesin, operator dan inventory yang ada pada bulan Januari, Februari, Maret, April, Juli, Agustus, Oktober, November dan Desember.

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is method for measuring efficiency with some models. Conventional model is a model that only uses input to identify efficiencies and allocation model is a kind of model that use the company’s allocation to identify efficiency. PT. XYZ has problems in efficiency that led the company losing money in 2014. Then the efficiency evaluation is required to improve efficiency. The purpose of this study is measure the conventional models efficiency, measure the allocation models efficiency, comparing conventional and allocation model efficiency and determine the proposed improvements. The used method is allocation models that increase efficiency by minimizing inputs or costs. Then use 5W + 2H to determine improvements. Results of this study is from January to December in 2014 is already efficient using conventional model, in May, June and September has been efficient using the traditional allocation model and in May, June and September is already efficient using new allocation model, the difference between conventional model, traditional and new allocation model depending on the value of existing cost and Proposed improvements of efficiency is to reduce material, machinery, operator and inventory cost in January, February, March, April, July, Agustus, October, November and December.
