Abstract
The purpose of this research was improved students learning outcomes and activities. The research was conducted in the fifth grade at elementary school of Terondol which has 26 students. This research was classroom action research and implemented by using index card match method. This research was implemented by applying two cycles. Every cycles includes planning, acting, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using observasion, interviews, and tests. The result showed that in cycle I the students activities reached presentage 63,46% and cycle II reached presentage 90,4%. So, for students learning outcomes got the data that in cycle I with an average score of students learning outcomes was 73,42 with completeness presentage 80,77%. In cycle II got the data that an average score of students learning outcomes was 81,5 with completeness presentage 100%. So, it can be concluded that applying index card match method can improved students learning outcomes and activities in the fifth grade at elementary school of Terondol in social sstudies.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Terondol yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode index card match. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus, setiap siklus mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mendapatkan presentase 63,46% dan siklus II mendapatkan presentase 90,4%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa diperoleh data yaitu pada siklus I dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa sebesar 73,42 dengan presentase ketuntasan 80,77%. Pada siklus II diperoleh data rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 81,5 dengan presentase ketuntasan 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode index card match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa kelas V SDN Terondol pada mata pelajaran IPS. | |||||||||
