Abstract

Agriculture,fishery,forestry development that sustainable is a something must to fill food need,board need and industrial material need; extend work square; increase people prosperity; increase national income; and keep good environment. To realize that need maximal performance from agricultural field extension workers. While to produce good performance every agricultural field extension workers need motivation. The purpose of this research is to know work motivation agricultural field extension worker, agricultural field extension workers performance, correlation between work motivation with agricultural field extension workers performance.This research is descriptive research, with research location choose with purposive it is Badan Pelaksana Penyuluhan dan Ketahanan Pangan (BP2KP) serang regency.Sample in this research is agricultural field extension worker as much as thirty three people. This research with use Coeficient Pearson Correlation. Then Hypotheses result is test with t test. Data that collective consist primary data and secondary data. Primary data from questioner and interview while secondary data from documentary and library learning. Calculation statistic result from Pearson Correlationas big as 0,531 that mean there is enough strong correlation between motivation with agricultural field extension worker performance. From research result can be knot that motivation and performance must necessary increase. See motivation have very firm correlation to performance, so one of method to increase that performance is increase his motivation.
