Abstract
A product influenced the main characteristics of the quality them are characteristic of the quality of being physical , chemical or mechanical .In this study focused on the nature of mechanical strength namely yield , tensile strength , and an elongation of an. A diagram ordinary control known by controlling the single trait . So that in making measurements two characteristic simultaneously used diagrams T 2 Hotelling control. PT.XYZ is a company that moves on the manufacturing industry to division Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) . CQ2MP products are products that many produce a defect . Research objectives is to control the production process CQ2MP used diagrams T 2 Hotelling control , know the factors causing out of control. CQ2MP the production process , and do the proposed fixes for control CQ2MP the production process. A diagram control T 2 Hotelling diagram control is to control several variables simultaneously. A diagram control T 2 Hotelling there are two data namely Phase I use the data while using as many as 637 Phase II data much 396. Phase I done to 6 times the revision of the control data limits until is in control . The result of Phase I will be used in Phase II and a matrix kovariansi namely factor means .There are some data Phase II out of control , this can be done the cause of the decomposition of identification uses the method .The result of there is no processing the dominant be the cause of uncontrolled then will be of the proposed fixes with the methods 5w + 2h. Such as training, take measurement of not the night shift, do the changing of the roll, scheduling give a liquid total oil concentrate (TOC) and rool coolant.

| Additional Information: | Produksi dipengaruhi beberapa karakteristik kualitas diantaranya bersifat fisik, kimia maupun mekanik. Pada penelitian ini berfokus pada sifat mekanik yaitu yield strength, tensile strength, dan elongasi. Diagram kontrol dikenal dengan mengendalikan satu karakteristik. Sehingga dalam melakukan pengukuran dua karakteristik secara bersamaan menggunakan diagram kontrol T2 Hotelling. PT.XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang manufaktur pada divisi Cold Rolling Mill (CRM). Produk CQ2MP merupakan produk yang banyak menghasilkan cacat. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengendalikan proses produksi CQ2MP menggunakan diagram kontrol T2 Hotelling, mengetahui faktor penyebab tidak terkendalinya proses produksi CQ2MP, dan melakukan usulan perbaikan untuk mengendalikan proses produksi CQ2MP. Diagram kontrol untuk mengendalikan beberapa variabel secara bersamaan. Diagram kontrol T2 Hotelling terdapat dua yaitu Fase I menggunakan data sebanyak 637 sedangkan Fase II sebanyak 396. Fase I dilakukan pengendalian sampai 6 kali revisi data berada didalam batas kendali. Hasil dari Fase I digunakan pada Fase II yaitu vector means dan matriks kovariansi. Hasil dari Fase II dapat dilakukan identifikasi penyebab menggunakan metode Dekomposisi dengan hasil tidak ada yang dominan diantara ketiga karakteristik, kemudian dilakukan usulan perbaikan dengan metode 5W+2H diantaranya memberikan pelatihan, melakukan pengukuran tidak shift malam, melakukan pergantian roll, penjadwalan memberikan cairan total oil concentrate (TOC) cairan roll coolant, dan sebagainya. | |||||||||
