Abstract

Problems to be studied in this research is the employee satisfaction at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF) Branch kebon jeruk, West Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to know is there any influence interpersonal communication and intrinsic motivation on employee job satisfaction. This study consists of three variables, namely Interpersonal Communication as a variable (X1), Intrinsic Motivation as a variable (X2), and Employee Satisfaction as a variable (Y). This type of research used in this research is quantitative research, the distributing questionnaires to obtain data in accordance with reality, and then calculating the results of the questionnaire answers by using a statistical count (SPSS 21). Based on the results of investigation of the influence of interpersonal communication on employee satisfaction obtained from the processing of data that interpersonal communication has positive effect significantly to employee job satisfaction be seen from the results of hypothesis testing the effect of interpersonal communication (X1) on employee job satisfaction (Y) in the t test, t > t table (12.468> 2.0345). In accordance with the regression line obtained Y = 7, 557 + 1.092 X1 + 0.360 X2, the regression model can be interpreted as follows coefficient b1 is 1.092 means that if the value of interpersonal communication (X1) increase (1%), while the intrinsic motivation ( X2) remains, then the employee job satisfaction (Y) will be increased by 1,092 and conversely, if the value of interpersonal communication (X1) decrease (1%), while the intrinsic motivation (X2) fixed, then the employee job satisfaction (Y) will decline amounted to 1,092. Then that intrinsic motivation is a significant negative effect on employee job satisfaction be seen from the results of hypothesis testing the effect of intrinsic motivation (X2) on employee job satisfaction (Y) in the t test, t <t table, (-3.227 <2.0345). b2 is the coefficient of -0.360 means that if the value of intrinsic motivation (X2) increase (1%), while the interpersonal communication (X1) fixed, then the level of employee satisfaction (Y) will increase by -0.360. Vice versa, if the value of intrinsic motivation (X2) decrease (1%), while the interpersonal communication (X1) fixed, then the employee job satisfaction (Y) will be decreased by -0.360 Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Intrinsic Motivation and Satisfaction Employee. iii
