Abstract
have a weakness in mathematical problem solving because the focus of the learning is only on what’s teacher taught, meanwhile students just write and listen. The effort is needed to solve this problem by applying SSCS learning model. The purpose of this research is to know the increasing of students abilities in mathematical problem solving and habits of mind, who get SSCS learning model are better than the students who get conventional learning. Quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design test is used to reach the purpose of this research. The research is in MAN 2 Serang ab the population of this analysis and the whole second semester 2013-2014 students of tenth grade, and two classes are chosen as a sample of analysis. The instrumen that use on this research are mathematical problem solving abilities and habits of mind scala of thr students. Based on the statistic test result are is 2,46 with is 1,66, is 1,83 with is 1,66, is 3,44 with is 1,66, is 2,71 with is 1,68, so that > , is rejected and is accepted. The result shows the increasing of students abilities on mathematical problem solving and habits of mind who get SSCS learning model are better than who get ekspositori method.

| Additional Information: | Pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih rendah, hal ini dikarenakan proses pembelajaran masih berpusat dengan guru, sedangkan siswa hanya mendengarkan dan mencatat. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran search, solve, create and share (SSCS). Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dan peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematis dan habits of mind siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran SSCS lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan desain non-equivalent control group design, dengan menggunakan uji- . Penelitian dilakukan di MAN 2 Kota Serang, sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini, seluruh siswa kelas X Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Kemudian dipilih dua kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan skala habits of mind. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik didapat sebesar 2,46 dengan sebesar 1,66, sebesar 1,83 dengan sebesar 1,66, sebesar 3,44 dengan sebesar 1,66, sebesar 2,71 dengan sebesar 1,68, hal ini berarti maka ditolak dan diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukakan kemampuan dan peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematis dan habits of mind siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran SSCS lebih baik dari pada siswa yang mendapatkan metode ekspositori. | |||||||||
