Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of return on equity and debt to equity ratio toward company value. This research also proposed to know if dividend policy was able to moderate the influence of return on equityand debt to equity ratio toward company value. The population of this research was Manufacturing Company listed on the Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. The total of company sample was 15. The researcher used saturated sampling technique in choosing the sample. The data collecting technique was literature study and field study. This research used Moderation Regression Analysis (MRA) as the methodology. The research finding was: return on equity has significance influence toward company value, the result was t count > t (2,269 > 2,001) with sig.0,027, anddebt to equity ratioalso has significance influence toward company value, the result wast count > t tabel tabel (-2,720 > -2,001) with sig. 0,009 (0,009 < 0,025). The Moderation Analysis Regression proved that dividend policy was unable to moderate the influence of return on equitytoward company value, the result was t (0,804 < 2,001) with sig. 0,425, therefore, it proved that dividend policy could moderate the influence of debt to equity ratiotoward company value, the result was t count > t (2,026 > -2,001) with sig. 0,048 (0,048 > 0,025).
