Abstract

This study aims to determine the influences of Inequality in Income and Expenditure of Education Sector and Health of Human Development Index in the city and regency in West Java province Years 2008-2013. The analytical method used is the method of linear regression analysis of panel data with GLS method with the help of Software Eviews 8. The results of this study indicate that income inequality is not significant at the 5% significance level and Expenditure in Education and Health Sectors significant influence at a significance level of 5% on the Human Development Index in the city and regency in West Java Province 2008-2013. F-calculated value of 554.3183 with a probability of 0.000000 smaller than the significance level of 5%, so it is concluded that the three independent variables Simultaneously or jointly have a significant influence on the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination (R 2 ) is found to be 0.991914. This shows that 99.19% of the independent variable in the form of Revenue and Expenditure Inequality in Education and Health Sector was able to explain the dependent variable is the Human Development Index in the city and regency in West Java Province years 2008-2013.
