Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of malnutrition on gross motor skills in children aged 2-4 years. The method used is quantitative, with the object of this study is children aged 2-4 years while becoming the subject of research that parents of children. The method used in this research is survey taken by students and parents as a companion in the provision of balanced nutrition in children. The design study is quantitative research that the form of numbers and analysis using statistical means some major occurrence and effect relationship between variables X with variables Y. The population was 30 early childhood aged 2-4 years in BKB Al-Falakh. With research sample included 30 children and 30 parents. Samples were taken using Random Sampling method. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation instrument with a Likert scale form. Data is also analyzed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test on the level of significance . Based on data analysis using test-r with the provisions r tabel < r hitung, the obtained r hitung r tabel 5375 and 2048 by H rejected H accepted, stating that there is a significant relationship between malnutrition on gross motor skills in children aged 2-4 years. Parents' parenting is the most dominant influence on gross motor skills of children is to tcount of 5375. 1 Keywords: Malnutrition, Rough Motoric Capabilities
