Abstract

The purpose of this experience was to obtain In vitro effect of sweeteners type and benzylaminopurine (BAP)concentration on growth pineapple planlets (Ananas comosus L.Merr). The method used was completely randomized design factorial with three replications. The first factor was sweetener with five-level dose of ; Sucrose 30.8 g / L; honey 34.2 ml / L; combination of honey 7 ml / L and sucrose 29 g / L; combination of honey 14 m / L and sucrose 21 g / L; combination of honey 21 ml / L and sucrose 14.6 g / L. The second factor was Benzylaminopurine with four dosage level that are : 0.0 mg / L; 0.5 mg / L; 1.0 mg / L; 1.5 mg / L. The results showed the sweeteners type of honey 21 ml / L + sucrose 14.8 g / L can produced the highest number of buds leaves buds. Combination of honey 7 ml / L + sucrose 29.7 g / L had the height number of buds high. Sucrose 30.8 g / L can increased the plant height and increased the number of plant leaves. Concentration of BAP 1.0 mg / L can produce the height number of buds and the heighst high of buds. There was no interaction between substance type sweeteners and plant growth regulator BAP to the growth of pineapple plantlets. Keywords: Sweetener type, Benzylaminopurine, pineapple, in vitro
