Abstract
This research background by the findings in the science learning process in the fourth grade Elementary School Juhut 4 which have an impact on the activity and student learning outcomes is low. This is evidenced by the value obtained by the students as a whole only 33.3 % of the 21 students who meet the minimum completeness criteria ( KKM ). The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in learning science by using cooperative learning model of the type of make a match . The research was conducted on the material change in the appearance of the earth and the sky object. The study was conducted in March- April 2015 by the research subjects are students of class IV which consists of 21 students . The method used in this research is classroom action research ( PTK ). This study was conducted by two cycles and each cycle consists of four phases: planning , action , observation and reflection . The results showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes in each cycle . Improving student learning outcomes that have met the standard of KKM, in cycle 1 increased to 38 % and in the second cycle increased to 86 %. In cycle 1, the activity of the students reached 65.99 % . In cycle 2, the activities of students increased to 86.63 %. Based on the study results in each cycle show that the use of cooperative learning model of the type of make a match can improve learning outcomes natural science at Elementary School fourth grade students juhut 4 .

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya temuan-temuan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dikelas IV SD Negeri Juhut 4 yang berdampak pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh siswa secara keseluruhan hanya 33,3% dari 21 siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe make a match. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada materi perubahan kenampakan bumi dan benda langit. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan maret-april 2015 dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 21 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang telah memenuhi standar KKM, pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 38% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 86%. Pada siklus 1, aktivitas siswa mencapai 65,99%. Pada siklus 2, aktivitas siswa meningkat mencapai 86,63%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam setiap siklus menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Juhut 4 | |||||||||
