Abstract

Television viewers are so infatuated with the style of the ad, the host of a talk show or soap opera actress and the film. Viewers insanity is realized in the form of hair styles, clothes, perfume, until their speaking style in everyday life. One of the TV program that is believed to have a big impact for viewers is 'I LOOK'. Program that addresses a variety of knick-knacks associated with the appearance / fashion, from toe to head. In this research, the researcher used S-O-R. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not the effect between exposure of ’I Look’ on NET TV against interest of dressing style the students in 1 senior high school Jakarta. If there was, how powerful it is. The method used in this research is associative quantitative method. Based on the research results of the correlation analysis which was conducted by the researcher, between the variables X and Y indicates that the variable X has a positive significant relationship with the variable Y, that is equal to 0,726. According to the guidelines of the correlation coefficient, this figure is included in strong category. SPSS 15 output result suggests that the relationship between exposure of ’I Look’ on NET TV against interest of dressing style the students in 1 senior high school Jakarta have a strong relationship, significance and a positive value. Based on the calculation of the tvalue, it can be seen that the value of t is 9,27. While great value ttabel is 0,277. The value of 9,27 is > 0,277. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is a positive and significant relationship between exposure of ‘I Look’ with interest of dressing style the students in 1 senior high school Jakarta.

Additional Information: Pemirsa televisi begitu tergila-gila dengan gaya bintang iklan, pemandu acara talkshow atau artis sinetron dan film. Kegilaan pemirsa itu terwujud dalam bentuk model rambut, pakaian, parfum, sampai gaya bicara mereka dalam kehidupan sehari�hari. Salah satu program televisi yang diyakini bisa berpengaruh besar bagi pemirsanya adalah acara „I LOOK’. Program yang membahas berbagai pernak-pernik yang berhubungan dengan penampilan/fashion, dari ujung kaki hingga ujung kepala. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan model S-O-R. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh antara terpaan tayangan ‘I Look’ terhadap minat gaya berbusana siswi SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. Jika ada pengaruhnya, seberapa kuat pengaruh tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif yang bersifat asosiatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian analisis korelasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, antara variabel X dan variabel Y menunjukkan bahwa variabel X memiliki hubungan signifikan positif dengan variabel Y, yaitu sebesar 0,726. Sesuai dengan pedoman koefisien korelasi, maka angka ini termasuk ke dalam kategori kuat. Hasil output SPSS 15 menyatakan bahwa hubungan antara terpaan tayangan ‘I Look’ terhadap minat gaya berbusana siswi SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta memiliki hubungan yang kuat, signifikan dan memiliki nilai positif. Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai t maka dapat diketahui bahwa nilai thitung adalah 9,27. Sedangkan besar nilai ttabel adalah 0,227. Nilai 9,27 > 0,227 sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara terpaan tayangan ‘I Look’ dengan minat gaya berbusana siswi
