Abstract

Leucaena wheat leafs an alternative feed constituents but contains anti-nutritive substances. The levels of these substances can be reduced through fermentation by using fungi. This research aims to determine the effect of adding leucaena leafs (Leucaena leucocephala ) with different fermentation in the feed to the increased blood and the growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). This research used 4 treatments and 4 repetition, namely: A (control), B (Aspergilus niger), C (Rhizopus oligosporus) and D (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), samples used are male with an average weight of 8.29 ± 0.41. The fungus in the flour mix into each treatment equal to 0.1g/kg. Leucaena wheat leafs with the addition of fermentation Aspergilus niger on tilapia fish feed may increase the number of eritrosit by 1.78x10 6 ±0.26, 24.44±2.12 for hematocrit, hemoglobin of 5.4±0.45 and leukosit for 1.43x10 5 ±0.23. Furthermore, leucaena wheat leafs with the addition of fermentation Aspergilus niger on tilapia fish feed showed the value total food consumption and absolut growth significantly defferent. The value of feed efficiency the survival rate of tilapia showed not significantly defferent. Leucaena fermented by fungi can be used as feed ingredients. The best result are on Aspergilus niger treatment.
